Life Events & Activities

I have had the blessed opportunity to have some unique experiences in life.  As a young child I lived and worked on various types of ranches in Colorado.   I have branded cattle, swathed hay, bucked 1,000's of hay bales, birthed 100's of calves & foals, irrigated crops, and pulled thousands of weeds.  At one time my bedroom was literally in a rock barn with no heat or insulation.  Dreams of living in the country or having a ranch is certainly not part of my vision in life.  It's hard work!  I came to Southern California in 1985 with two suitcases and $20.00.....I traded in my Wranglers & cowboy boots for Surf Shorts & Flip Flops.

Southern California has been good to me.  The challenges to become slightly successful in Southern California occasionally made branding cattle look easy.  However, there's few things in my life that I would change.  I have two wonderful boys, a great wife, and the "World's Best" dog.  Every morning I wake up in a warm bed with a view of the sand & waves from my bedroom.  Every day I realize that there's so many things in the world to do and I make a choice on which ones are important to me.  Life is about living and here's a few of the times that I have "Lived".

 Drove a vehicle in the Presidential Motorcade when President Bush came to Los Angeles.  6/27/03
